A new children's audio-book featuring one of the hottest female singers in the world is breaking this fall. The collector's first edition includes four original songs sung by LeAnn Rimes when she was only eight years old, more than half a lifetime ago for her. "Chitter Chatter's Search for Santa," written by Jess Hudson and published by Millburn House Books, is the story of a cricket who can sing any song ever written and its search to make one special family wish come true at Christmas. The 32-page hard cover book will be packaged with a compact disc.
Parents and grandparents, wishing for a unique collectible gift this Christmas, may have their wishes granted, as well, with this new tale.
"Something about this book will captivate you," said publisher Edward Anderson of Millburn House. The author, who also wrote the songs in the book, heard LeAnn sing in a talent contest almost 14 years ago in Branson, Missouri. It was at that time he employed her to sing those four, short children's songs for his book.
"I heard qualities in her voice that were beyond her age," said author Jess Hudson. I first heard her when she was seven. Before she had completed the first four measures of the first song, she had the audience standing on their feet. It was a remarkable trait for someone so young, to have displayed such charisma."
